The last year has been a really crazy period for me. I was fortunate enough to be able to take part and contribute some sketch cards on Topps' Lord of the Rings Masterpieces II and Heroes cards, and Breygent Marketing's Vintage Movie Poster set. Unfortunately, I was also diagnosed with narcolepsy last year in addition to already having sleep apnea. Basically, my energy level during the past several months was equivalent to that of a 9-week old baby. Sleeping or fighting not to fall asleep basically described my days.</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">O</span><span style="font-family:arial;">ne thing I have to admit is that having sleep disorders and working on Heroes sketch cards really made for some exciting experience. I almost felt like Isaac Mendez... I would literally doze off and wake up to discover things that I have drawn, scribbled, colored, and/or wrote on a card. Needless to say, I spent way too much time covering up whatever my subconscious did. Too bad I didn't end up drawing some really cool precognition about the future or something.</span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;"></span><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">Anyways, that (sort of) explains why I did more pencil and non-colored cards for Lord of the Rings Masterpieces II and Heroes cards. Things are hopefully going to keep looking better for me and I'll hopefully do some more sketch cards in the near future. Also, I'll try hard to keep this blog updated with my new artwork.
